Most book nooks glow warm. This one glows a little wicked. The Tarot Divination Society is a fortune-teller's parlor in miniature: a Wheel of Fate that actually rotates, a crystal ball, a witch at her table, and tarot cards scattered under a wash of mysterious green light against the warm lamps. Between your books it reads like the shop down the alley you weren't supposed to take, and it's the obvious pick for a shelf that leans witchy, gothic, or Halloween-all-year.

It's a wooden build with a step-by-step color manual, rated Steady Hands on our scale: the mechanical touches like the spinning wheel are the best parts and also the steps that want unhurried attention. The maker pitches it for ages 14 and up, which matches our read. Give it two or three evenings, and wire both light sets before closing the back panel. At 12.2 inches tall and 2.4 inches thick, it slots into a standard bookshelf with room to spare.

The box carries the pre-cut wooden parts, both LED sets, and the illustrated manual, per the maker's packing list. Bring your own glue and two AAA batteries, since air shipping rules keep both out of the box.
