Legal notice
Last updated: September 1, 2026
This page identifies who runs ShelfWorlds and states the legal ground rules for the content on this site: who owns it, how the brand names in our guides are used, and how to reach us about a legal concern. Our Terms of service, Shipping policy, and Returns and replacements policy cover purchases; this page covers everything else.
Site operator
shelfworlds.com is operated by Christopher Jan Benitez, doing business as ShelfWorlds.

Contact: hello@shelfworlds.com or the contact page
- Market served: United States
We respond to legal inquiries at the same address as everything else, usually within 2 business days.
Copyright
All original content on this site is © ShelfWorlds and protected by copyright law. That includes our guides, reviews, difficulty ratings, product write-ups, page copy, and original photography and graphics, along with the ShelfWorlds name, logo, and rating system.
You're welcome to link to any page on this site and to quote brief excerpts with attribution and a link back. You may not republish our content commercially, scrape it wholesale, or present it as your own without written permission. Ask first: hello@shelfworlds.com. We say yes more often than you'd think.
Trademarks
Third-party brand and product names that appear on this site, including LEGO, Rolife, Robotime, CuteBee, and Tonecheer, are trademarks of their respective owners. We use them for identification and honest editorial comparison only. ShelfWorlds is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these brands unless a page explicitly says otherwise.
Product images
Manufacturer product photography is supplied by our makers and suppliers for retail use and remains the property of its respective owners. Photos may show fully assembled kits; every kit we sell ships unassembled.
Editorial content and accuracy
Our difficulty ratings, build-time estimates, and honest caveats are opinions offered in good faith, based on piece counts, maker information, and verified buyer reviews. They are not guarantees of your experience. We work to keep every page accurate and current, but we can't promise the site is free of errors; if you spot one, tell us and we'll fix it.
Affiliate disclosure
Some guides link to other retailers, and a few of those links earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. Where an affiliate relationship exists, the page says so. A commission never changes a rating: kits that fail our checks stay out of the catalog no matter who pays.
External links
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, prices, or policies.
Copyright complaints
If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, email hello@shelfworlds.com with the subject line "Copyright complaint" and include:
- The URL of the material on our site
- Identification of the work you believe is infringed and proof you own it or represent the owner
- Your name and contact information
- A statement, made in good faith, that the use is not authorized
We review every complaint and remove or correct infringing material promptly.
