Difficulty: 3 · Steady Hands | Build time: 3–5 hours (maker's estimate; budget an extra hour) | 233 pieces | 9.7 × 8.3 × 5.7 in | Ships in 7–14 days

Every other nook on this site is a street or a shop. This one is a tomb. Hall of Eternity descends through hand-painted hieroglyph murals to the Judgment of Osiris itself: pillared chambers, a golden pharaoh, and storerooms of tiny canopic jars stacked under the pyramid's peak. Touch the hieroglyph panel on the wall and the whole tomb wakes in torchlight, which is the single best party trick of any kit we carry.

The maker rates the build at 3 to 5 hours across 233 pieces, and we'd add one buyer's hard-won advice on top: "read ahead before attempting each stage." The chambers interlock, so a few minutes with the manual before each session keeps this a Steady Hands build instead of a frustrating one. At 9.7 inches tall with that peaked roof, it works between books, but it honestly shines as a bookend or a standalone piece where the pyramid silhouette can show off.

Two more notes from the reviews. The best upgrade costs almost nothing: one builder added a touch of gold paint to the sarcophagus and called the result transformed, and the photos agree. And a few buyers had the outer shipping box arrive dinged while the kit inside was fine, so judge it by the contents. Bring your own glue and batteries; our own build notes land here once our copy is done.

Allow 7 to 14 days for delivery. If there's a history reader, an Egyptology kid who never grew out of it, or a museum-gift-shop person on your list, nothing else we stock fills that brief, and that's precisely why we carry it.

Received the kit. i was quite surprised and disappointed the the kit box was packed so poorly. the kit box was in a plastic shipping bag but the kit box was not wrapped in bubble wrap to protect the box. most companies wrap the boxes to protect them. my kit box was pretty beat up and dented from the shipping process. the integrity of the box had failed because of the shipping. the kit cost over $60 so i expected a better packing job. i haven’t started build the model yet and hope that the parts did not get damaged.

Great kit, something different, also in German. Haven't started yet, but the quality seems right, as I've built many kits before. And super fast delivery within a week. The packaging was damaged, but the contents were not.

The packaging is crushed, but everything inside is okay. The light works 👍🏻. I can't say more about it yet, it hasn't been set up.

A delightful build but would suggest reading ahead before attempting each stage. end result looks great, especially after adding some gold to the sarcophagus. would recommend.
