About This Kit

Hall of Eternity is a DIY book nook kit that builds an Egyptian pharaoh's tomb inside a pyramid. The scene descends through hand-painted hieroglyph murals and pillared chambers to the Judgment of Osiris, with a golden pharaoh and storerooms of tiny canopic jars under the peak. Touch the hieroglyph panel on the wall and the tomb lights up in torchlight, a hidden switch that makes it the best party trick in the ShelfWorlds catalog.

The chambers interlock, so the build rewards reading ahead before each session. It is rated Steady Hands on the ShelfWorlds scale. The cheapest upgrade comes from a buyer: one builder added a touch of gold paint to the sarcophagus and called the result transformed.

The peaked roof gives it a silhouette worth showing, so it looks best with open space on at least one side where the pyramid shape reads against the wall. It makes a good gift for the history reader, or for the adult who was an Egyptology kid and still heads straight for the museum gift shop.

Fast postage well packaged. i love making these diy miniatures. so happy they finally brought out an egyptian one.

Received the kit. i was quite surprised and disappointed the the kit box was packed so poorly. the kit box was in a plastic shipping bag but the kit box was not wrapped in bubble wrap to protect the box. most companies wrap the boxes to protect them. my kit box was pretty beat up and dented from the shipping process. the integrity of the box had failed because of the shipping. the kit cost over $60 so i expected a better packing job. i haven’t started build the model yet and hope that the parts did not get damaged.

Received in a simple bag without bubble wrap. The box was barely damaged, so it's not a big deal. However, the glue tube was missing from the box. Other than that, very happy with the result even though it only took 3 hours to assemble.

Great kit, something different, also in German. Haven't started yet, but the quality seems right, as I've built many kits before. And super fast delivery within a week. The packaging was damaged, but the contents were not.

The packaging is crushed, but everything inside is okay. The light works 👍🏻. I can't say more about it yet, it hasn't been set up.

All the sheets are a bit difficult to press together, but it can be done.

A delightful build but would suggest reading ahead before attempting each stage. end result looks great, especially after adding some gold to the sarcophagus. would recommend.
