Missing or damaged pieces, the common case
Book nook kits contain hundreds of tiny parts, and occasionally one arrives broken or goes missing mid-build. This is normal for the hobby, and it's why our first answer is never "send it back."

This covers manufacturing defects and shipping damage. It also covers the piece that vanished into the carpet. Tell us honestly what happened and we'll do our best either way.
Changed your mind
- Unopened kits (shrink wrap intact) can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund to your original payment method.
- Email us first for the return address. Returns sent without contacting us can't be matched to an order.
- Return shipping is on you for change-of-mind returns; we refund the kit price in full once it arrives back.
- Opened kits can't be returned. Once the parts bags are open, we can't resell it. This is standard across the hobby, and it's the reason we put difficulty ratings and honest caveats on every product page before you buy.
Wrong or defective kit
If we shipped you the wrong kit, or the whole kit is defective (not just a piece), that's our problem, not yours. We'll replace it or refund it in full, including shipping, whichever you prefer.
Refund timing
Refunds are issued within 3 business days of the return arriving, and your bank typically posts it within 5–10 business days after that.
